Cotton is renewable resource that only takes 5-6 months to grow, while trees that most viscose and tissue are made from take years to grow. When it comes to sustainability, approximately 1.6 pounds of useful products like cottonseed oil, cattle feed and mulch are generated while harvesting every pound of cotton fiber. The purification process of cotton fiber is far more simple than regenerated viscose with way with chemicals and waste.
